Electromagnetic flow meter
The intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter works based on Faraday's
law of electromagnetic induction. It is used to measure the volume
flow of conductive liquids with a conductivity greater than 5μS/cm.
It is an inductive instrument that measures the volume flow of
conductive media. In addition to measuring the volume flow of
general conductive liquids, it can also be used to measure the
volume flow of strong corrosive liquids such as strong acid and
alkali, and uniform liquid-solid two-phase suspension liquids such
as mud, ore pulp, and paper pulp. Widely used in petroleum,
chemical, metallurgy, textile, paper, environmental protection,
food and other industrial sectors and municipal management, water
conservancy construction, river dredging and other fields of flow
measurement.

Electromagnetic flowmeters are widely used in sewage, fluorine
chemical, production water, tap water industry, medicine, steel and
many other aspects. Due to the principle, it can only measure
conductive liquids.

Electromagnetic flow meter
The measurement principle is based on Faraday's law of
electromagnetic induction. As shown in the figure below, the two
electromagnetic coils at the upper and lower ends generate a
constant or alternating magnetic field. When the conductive medium
flows through the electromagnetic flowmeter, it will cut the
magnetic field line, and an induction will be generated at this
time. The electromotive force is detected by the two measuring
electrodes. The magnitude of this induced electromotive force is
proportional to the flow rate of the conductive medium, the
magnetic induction intensity of the magnetic field, and the width
of the conductor (the diameter of the pipe measured by the
flowmeter). The flow rate of the medium can be obtained by
calculation.
